Is it really free?
Yes. Every song, as many as you like, without an account. Ads pay for the analysis.
Can I turn a YouTube video into chords?
Yes — paste the link and the chords come back for that recording. Videos whose owner blocks embedding are the one exception: without playback there is nothing to play along to.
What if the song is not on YouTube?
Upload the audio file instead. It is read for its chords and deleted the same moment — the recording itself never leaves your own browser, which is also what plays it back.
How accurate are the chords?
Good on straightforward arrangements, shakier on dense ones. They are an estimate from the audio, not a transcription somebody checked — trust your ear over the screen.
Do I need to know music theory?
No. Every chord is drawn as a guitar diagram showing where the fingers go, and the next one is announced before it arrives.
